What makes this little pudgy guy so memorable?

This week, we thought it would be fun and educational to spotlight The Madison Avenue Advertising Walk of Fame in New York City. The Hollywood Boulevard of advertising land, the WOF celebrates the most memorable advertising icons and slogans around. And you can help decide which iconic figures and slogans are immortalized there.

Go to Advertising Week to vote on this year’s nominees, a list which features the likes of the Travelocity Gnome, Burger King’s crowned dude, the Jolly Green Giant, those guys in fruit suits for Fruit of the Loom, and, of course... the Big Boy.

You can also vote for the most memorable tagline, selecting from a list of slogans that have wormed their way into our lexicon. With nominees like “I Want My MTV” and “Got Milk?”… how do you vote for just one?

Such is the challenge. Former years saw winners like the Geico cavemen, Chick-Fil-A cows and the Colonel, alongside slogans like “We Deliver for You”, “The Few, The Proud, The Marines” and “Don’t Mess With Texas”. Only two icons and two taglines are inducted each year.

So cast your vote. Winners will be announced later this month during Advertising week
