Sure, times are tough right now. But as difficult as they are for many of us, they are even harder on non-profits. With all the tightening of purse strings going on, they are the ones that are affected first. Which is why we thought this was the perfect time to jump in and show our support.
Over the last few months, OnMessage has been working with the North Texas Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® to help them promote their June 6th race as well as to raise awareness of their Friends for the Cure program. While participating in the race is a great commitment in the fight against breast cancer, we want to encourage people to also become a Friend for the Cure.
Through this online program, donations are made in the form of sponsorships. The campaign we created encourages participants to raise just $100. If every participant meets this goal, we could raise $1.2 million for Komen North Texas. To learn more, or to register, go to komennorthtexas.org.
