Messaging Specialist

 

• Managing comprehensive messaging and positioning engagements (3-6 months) with

client and agency-side team members

• Driving strategic messaging, positioning and branding meetings with senior level (c-level)

executives

• Leading extensive, probing interviews with client employees, customers, industry experts,

partners and prospects to derive key messages, unique value propositions and brand

promises

• Formulating and developing strategic messaging findings and brand story

recommendation presentations for clients

• Writing and refining messaging framework content and deliverables that will be used in all

client marketing communication vehicles

• Working with agency team members to develop messaging requirements that drive the

creative and branding process

 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have seasoned skills in marketing communications, traditional and

digital marketing, as well as executive communications. Higher consideration will be given to

candidates who possess strong writing skills. A BS or equivalent 4-year degree is required.

• 8+ years of experience in marketing communications, brand strategy and/or product

marketing

• Demonstrated experience in value proposition formulation and targeted messaging for

highly complex products and services

• A comfort level with ambiguity and the ability to distill a wealth of disparate information

into strategic messaging that will drive business performance

• Demonstrated success working with multiple groups and organizations to improve

marketing results

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage and execute a variety of complex projects at the same time

• Passion for helping clients make strategic improvements in the way they market and

position their company, products and services

 

 

 

Senior Account Executive 

 

 

• Add value to the account service equation from a strategic branding, marketing,

positioning and demand generation perspective

• Add strategic thinking/insight in meetings with clients

• Develop and execute the delivery of client/prospect presentations

• Provide the internal team with specific direction regarding the broader

business/marketing strategy and goals of clients

• Establish, maintain and grow client/agency relationships

• Take full ownership and responsibility for the team’s work and assignments, and resolve

problems independently

• Assist the Account Director by providing account coordinators with clear direction when

delegating specific tasks

• Provide clear direction to the messaging and creative teams on client projects

• Accurately capture and distribute action items from client meetings and internal concept

meetings

• Ensure work orders are in synch with the clients' overall marketing strategy

• Create efficient job flow by developing complete, accurate creative work orders

• Manage clear and consistent dialogue between clients and the messaging, creative, and

production teams

• Manage the financial health of assigned accounts

• Pro-actively look for involvement in new business initiatives

• Think ahead to anticipate and propose resolution to internal business challenges that

stand in the way of client satisfaction, future growth and quality of work

Qualifications:

• Four-year degree in marketing or related field required, plus 4-6 years prior experience in

managing and executing marketing campaigns.

• Candidates must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with ability

to communicate creative strategy solutions to clients. Must also possess strong

organizational and project management skills.

• Must be a team player with experience working with cross-functional teams.

• Capable of prioritizing and simultaneously managing a variety of tasks
